Healthy Eating Diet

I believe in eating healthy and staying fit, but I also believe everything needs to be done in moderation. If we restrict ourselves completely from everything we love to eat, we end up over indulging ourselves later and regretting it. So if chocolate is your thing or vanilla ice cream or what ever you fancy. I say its okay to have a little here or a little there.

Exercise: There are all kinds of ways to get your exercise. Don't make the mistake of doing the same exercise routine day in and day out. You will get bored! Walk in your neighbor hood, walk down town, or maybe you have a park near by that has trails.

Do some stretching exercises, start out slow, they will help loosen up tight muscles and improve joint movement. Later you can add some weights if you would like. You might try putting some tunes on and dance around the living room. The secret is to make exercise fun.Here are a few health tips that I have picked up, some recently and some that I have known for a while. Hope that you will find some of these tips useful in your quest in becoming a healthier you.

Phosphoric acid an additive found in soda is believed to remove calcium from your bones and cause tooth decay. When girls and boys bodies are changing into young adults as we all know their hormones change which causes skin break outs and mood swings, but did you know it also causes more plaque to build up on their teeth then when they were younger. Another reason to push our teens to brush their teeth. They will be grateful to us later.

Oatmeal

We are all looking to burn more fat when we exercise: Start your morning off with whole grains, such as oatmeal, whole grain toast or bran cereal. They have "slow release" carbohydrates which can help you burn fat, according to a new study in the Journal Of Nutrition.

Weight bearing exercise helps our body absorb calcium. You can take all the calcium you want but with out exercise and vitamin D your body will not absorb the calcium. You can get vitamin D from leafy green vegetables, most milk also is fortified with vitamin D these days, there's also vitamin D supplements or you can spend fifteen minutes in the sun a day with out sunscreen. Exercise is great way to lower your risk of heart disease and certain cancers, including breast cancer. Exercise also helps reduce stress, which is an important factor in our health.

Another way to reduce stress is to take time out for ourselves. Read a book or take a nice warm bubble bath, turn the lights off and light some candles, or just watch a good movie. We can't just depend on exercise and some relaxation though to keep us healthy, we need to also follow a healthy diet. Avoid processed foods they are very high in salt, avoid foods that are high in fat, and last but not least avoid too much sugar. Always read labels and don't forget everything needs to be done in moderation.

Workout Routines For Women

When I hear someone refer to a workout routine for women, what immediately comes to mind is the specific exercises to be done. Stuff that enhances metabolism, builds muscle, that sort of thing. But after pondering for a bit, I realized that the real key to this phrase is "routine". Because how many of you actually have a set schedule to work out like you have a schedule for everything else in your world? That's probably more of the issue than anything else.

Do you really not have the time to exercise, or do you simply NOT make an appointment with yourself to do it. And don't mistake me for one of those fanatical exercise gurus who lives to exercise and does so 8 hours a day. I'm not and I don't. The fact of the matter is, I struggle with this just like you. So I'm not getting up on my high horse about it. I understand where you are coming from, I really do.
But the truth remains, at the end of the day, you'd look better, feel better, and have more energy if you consistently did workout routines for women. And that, my friend, is why my program lends itself well to a packed, frenzied, or otherwise insane schedule. Because in my mind, I do believe that doing ten minutes of powerful exercise will do you a world of good, especially in comparison to doing nothing at all. And what happens to me when I allow myself ten minutes to work out? Sometimes I start to really feel the energy and power pumping in me, and I end up with a 30 minute workout. So my lame excuse of not having time is just that. Lame. But we all make excuses in one way or another.
I recommend doing a workout routine for women that is 20 minutes every day. And the reason I don't like to say three times a week, aside from the fact that it's kind of standard and I like to be difficult, is, again, to do with ROUTINE. In other words, what I would really like to see is that this becomes a habit that you don't even need to write down. Participating in a workout routine for women will become an automatic response, much like many other activities that occur in your daily life. Because otherwise, what happens is, you skip a day and say to yourself, "Oh, I'll do 40 minutes tomorrow" and then tomorrow it's a "thing", because 40 minutes seems like a much more daunting project than 20. Am I right, here? You see, I've been down this road before.

And sadly, often times that is all it will take to go from a well-meaning habit to doing absolutely nothing at all. Yeah, doing nothing is so much easier. That is, until those muffin tops of yours are about to burst off the waistline of your skirt. And then the guilt. And spiraling self-esteem. And more cookies.
Have you thought about hiring a weight loss coach? Because it's so much easier to succeed in developing healthy habits, like workout routines for women, when you have support and guidance. Not everyone requires accountability, but most of us do better when we have it. The Ten Commandments to Live Healthy

Nutrients: Thou shall consume into thy body only foods that are produced by plants to live healthy, and forbid everything that is produced in a plant. The first plant is a living organism that is God-made, but the second plant is a building that is man-made.

Eating a balanced diet daily should consist of the following: seven to nine servings of. whole grains; five to seven servings of fruits and vegetables; three to five servings of protein and one to three servings of fats and sugars.

A serving is half of a measuring cup, or one of those small party plates. Eating the right way can turn back the hands of time, and change the way you think, look and feel. But even more important, can reverse the age-related macular degeneration of the body.

Rest: Thou shall get quality and quantity sleep to live healthy. Get enough to refresh and rejuvenate your body. Studies have shown that when people get less than 6 or 7 hours of sleep each night, their risk for developing diseases begins to increase. Get a full night's rest of seven to nine hours whenever possible.

Without adequate sleep, the immune system becomes weak, and the body becomes more vulnerable to infection and disease. To ensure quality sleep, your bed room environment should be quiet and dark for best resting experience. And you should not work in bed, unless it is "sexersize"

Exercise: Thou shall move thy body daily for the many health benefits. The health benefits that are derived from exercise are unquestionable, yet the majority refuses to make the time to exercise the body. These are just some of the benefits to live healthy:

Water: Thou shall drink five to eight glasses of water daily and live healthy. Two third of our body is made up of water, ninety five percent of our brain is water, ninety percent of the lungs consist of this substance and eighty two percent of the blood is just water.

Do not take it lightly when they say water is life, that is a fact. Drinking enough water to keep your cells hydrated can prevent headaches, reduce tiredness, improve concentration and increase short-term memory.

Sunlight: Thou shall get more sunlight on thy skin and live healthy. Researchers are now starting to recognize the importance of sunlight for a healthy lifestyle. Vitamin D is absorbed naturally from the sun. It's necessary for healthy bones, muscles, and cells. It also helps the body absorb and use phosphorus and calcium. If we are exposed to sunlight for 15 to 20 minutes a day, we can absorb about 10,000-15,000 IU of Vitamin D each day.

Laughter: Thou shall laugh out loud every day because it is good for you. If you want to effectively manage stress, laugh more. You can laugh even when there is nothing to laugh about. Laughter benefits the health of the mind and soul. New research has shown that laughter can flush clots, cholesterol and inflammation from the body.

Laughter has similar health benefits to exercise. When we laugh, our facial muscles stretch and there's an increased heart rate and blood flow. We breathe more deeply, taking in large amounts of oxygen, to cleanse the system and activate many health benefits.

It's refreshing to spend a time of quiet, still reflective moment where we can commune with our God, so we can hear from and learn to surrender every situation to His control.

Muscle Gaining - Lower Body and Core Workouts

Now that I have covered the primary upper body core workouts. Let's talk about how you can see some muscle gains in your lower body. The following are lower core body workouts that I will probably be using in many of my suggested workout routines in the future.

1. Squats - This is the primary lower body workout (it is much like the bench press of the lower body). Squats work out your quadriceps, hamstrings, calves, and back. The squats are probably one of the hardest exercises that you will do. To be honest, I hate doing squats myself. But while I hate doing them, I know that they are very important to building muscle mass, so I just suck it up and move through them. I am going to show you a few workout routines that I have personally used that did not require squats. At the same time, if there is a routine that requires you to do squats, I would definitely discourage you from simply skipping the exercise altogether.

2. Deadlift - This workout is pretty simple, you just lift the weight. This is a great workout for the legs and back, but there are some downsides. First off, it is imperative that you perform this exercise correctly with correct form. If you are ever getting lazy or feel that you are having an off day, simply skip this exercise and do something else for your back. The deadlift can do serious injury to your back if you perform it incorrectly. I will go over the proper

3. Power clean or clean and jerk - This exercise is a true test of strength for your entire body. It basically incorporates the deadlift, squat and shoulder press. This is an exercise that I don't put in most of my workouts, mostly because it is too hard to do. You often see it performed in the Olympics. The exercise involves starting with the bar on the ground (with weight), deadlifting it up to the neck. You are then supposed to lift it over your head. Some people go as far as lowering it to the back of their neck and doing a squat before reversing the process. Some people do this and then just drop it at the when they put their arms up for a second or two. This is a workout for somebody who is advanced, and I wouldn't recommend it for those just looking to gain a few pounds of muscle.

So that's it. Those are the primary lower body core workout. Squats and deadlifts will probably be used a lot, and I recommend learning how to perform them with good form.

Squats and Dead Lifts

It is no myth that many people, when going to the gym to workout, don't make the most out of their time. Whether it be a deliberate choice due to laziness, or done accidentally due to lack of knowledge, many do not perform exercises such as the dead lift or squat, and thus, severely hamper the progress they could be making. These two aforementioned lifts are the most important to perform when in the gym, as they incorporate nearly every muscle in your body, allowing you to lift the most weight possible, which results in faster muscle gain and quicker fat loss. What more could you want?

Exercises such as bicep curls, shoulder raises, triceps push downs and chest flies, generally speaking, are inefficient at building significant amounts of muscle. This is because they are known as simple exercises that only recruit one or two muscle groups when they are performed. On the other end of the scale, compound exercises recruit many muscle groups when they are performed, which results in more muscle trauma (more room for muscular growth) and more calories burnt per minute. Dead lifts and squats are the two biggest compound lifts that incorporate many muscles including your quadriceps, hamstrings, lower back, upper back, traps, as well as putting a huge amount of stress on your abdominal and oblique muscles.

The amount your body can improve on the dead lift and squat is far greater than what it can improve on the smaller, simple exercises. This means that you have a greater potential for muscular growth, core strength and functional strength, whilst greatly improving the amount of testosterone your own body produces through the hormonal feedback loop, which will make you look and feel years younger than you actually are.

Other great benefits of squatting and dead lifting include:

(1) Improving your core stability which will aid you into old age
(2) Both exercises provide real world applications as the squatting and dead lifting motions are used in many different areas of life.
(3) Drastically increase your gripping strength.
(4) Improve your metabolism due to the drastic increase in body temperature.
(5) Raises the efficiency and strength of your lungs and heart.
(6) Boosts your immune system due to the gains that your central nervous system acquires.

As you can see, the squat and dead lift are known as the 'kings' of weight lifting exercises for good reason. If are serious about reaching your fitness goals, and want to have an incredibly muscular and lean body, not performing these two lifts is doing yourself, and your body, a great disservice!

Remember to learn the correct form and technique from a professional trainer when first starting to squat and dead lift, and slowly work up from using just the bar so that your body can become acclimated to the lifts. Safety should always be your first priority when you are in the gym, so leave your ego at the door and lift smart!

Despite the many fad diets and the promise of some companies to provide pills that make weight loss effortless, these are not healthy and effective means of weight loss. Medications and dietary supplements, when administered by a medical professional, can certainly help increase your chances of losing weight and keeping it off, but they are only part of the equation. To successfully lose weight requires a commitment to a healthier diet (long term, not crash dieting) and to regular exercise.

The decision to become more active and to exercise is crucial, not just to the success of your attempt at weight loss, but also for your long-term health and wellbeing. One exercise to speed up your metabolism

Are you interested in how to speed up your metabolism fast and efficiently? If so then you have arrived at the right place. You see in order to speed up your metabolic rate and to burn off those unwanted pounds you must engage in exercise that drastically increases your level of perceived exertion. To execute this particular exercise you will want to properly clean and rack the bell or bells to your chest. From here you are simply going to perform a kettlebell front squat while maintaining the balance and position of the bells in front of your body.
As you descend into the squat try to lower yourself to a position so that your elbow or elbows touch the insides of your knees. This will ensure a good squat depth for the drill. As you ascend up out of the squat make sure that you lock out both your hips and knees. Once you have locked out then simply complete the lift by pressing the kettlebell overhead. Lower the bell back to the racked position at your chest to start the process for the next rep all over again. Once you knock out about 5 or 10 reps of these on each side you will quickly understand what I mean about increasing your level of perceived exertion. To further challenge yourself you can advance to doing timed sets when you get used to executing the lift in a comfortable manner.

If you've ever experienced a hangover you'll know that it completely drains you out of energy and turns your world upside down. Here is a handy list of hangover cures and home remedies to get you cured and on your feet in as little time as possible.

Many younger people go back to the pub and just top up on a few more drinks. This just postpones your hangover for a while and is not the best way to get cured.

Drink as much water as you can to avoid a hangover in the first place. So drink about 200ml of water for every 30ml of alcohol you drink. Greasy food is a great way to combat a hangover. So the next time you get one just order a huge helping of fries or anything greasy enough. It is a good idea to eat some food before, during and immediately after drinking. Although food doesn't really absorb alcohol, it increases metabolism, speeds up alcohol absorption, and generally hastens the processing of alcohol within your body.

Going back to bed helps your body recover faster from a hangover. At the same time, lying in bed all day long is not a great idea either. First wake up and have something to eat and drink, freshen up and then go back to bed if you have to.

The next best thing is to go easy on the number of drinks the next time you drink. Don't give in to peer pressure to have that one last drink. You should know when you have had enough. Also avoid mixing your drinks. Combining beer, shots and every type of alcohol is never a good idea.

Although you may not feel like exercising, it is one of the best ways to get the alcohol out of your system quickly. It speeds up your metabolism and processes the alcohol faster. Even a simple walk works. Bananas are a good antidote for a hangover. They contain fructose, potassium and natural antacids that can help calm the blood vessels that cause hangover headaches.

Hemorrhoids Home Remedy

Cleaning cabbage mask

With a mixer crush two large cabbage leaves until they become liquid. Add 1 tbs sour cream, 1 tbs of honey and 1 tbs olive oil. Put it on your face and keep for 30 min, then wash with water in which you put some lemon juice.

For smoothing wrinkles 1

 

Squeeze the juice of half a grapefruit and dissolve it in 50 g of flour. Add yogurt until a homogeneous mix. Keep the rejuvenating mask onto your 15 minutes and flush with plenty of water.

Protein mask for oily hair


Stir one egg white to snow. Add to it a teaspoon of salt and beat untill thick foam. Then pour the juice of one lemon and beat again. The mask is rubbed into the skin of the scalp through massage of the head. Hold for 30 minutes.

Fighting Cellulitis

Mix half pack of sea salt with with one vial of almond oil in a jar. Close the jar and shake until they mix well. Use the mixture on the zones with cellulitis before you take a shower.

Tai – Chi, exercise for health

As a helping professional, I'm always on the lookout for new and innovative helping approaches to share with my clients (and myself), thereby helping them to relax and succeed. Every now and then I'll hit on something really great and that's what happened when I stumbled upon Tai Chi and its gentle warm-up exercises called Chi Gong.

Close to a year ago, when I saw my doctor for a routine check-up, she told me that its time I start doing some exercise. Finding most forms of exercise to be dull and boring I was at a loss. Jogging and weight lifting weren't things I had any interest in and no amount of cajoling by the doctor (or anyone else for that matter) would do anything about it. It was then that I remembered having taken Karate classes as a small child. Karate, now that's something I could do. So I went onto Amazon and looked for a teach-yourself-guide to Karate, but found nothing. What I did find was Bill Douglas' Idiot's Guide to Tai Chi and Chi Gong. For less than twenty dollars I figured I didn't have much to lose. So I ordered it. Now I try to do a thirty minute daily workout following Douglas' instructions, and what's more, I recommend a daily Tai Chi and Chi Gong regimen to nearly all of my clients.

Originating in the Buddhist temples of China and Vietnam, Tai Chi is an ancient martial art and moving meditation. With its slow but deliberate movements, it is focused and purposeful. Unlike other forms of exercise, Tai Chi is not something you simply do, rather it's an undertaking to be studied, worked, and improved. With its graceful flurries of complex yet simple parries, punches, kicks, blocks, and pushes, it stretches the mind every bit as much as it stretches the body.

Utilizing ancient Chinese methods of mind-body cleansing, a half-hour regimen leaves the body of the practitioner feeling light and strong while the mind and spirit is left clear and calm. Often mental and emotional disorders result from feelings that one's life is out of control. Tai Chi helps put us back into the driver's seat of life. The dichotomies of strength and gentleness, force and calm embodied by this gentle martial art (aside from the benefit of exercise and movement in general) make it the perfect exercise regime for anyone suffering from stress, anxiety, or depression. Adding to that the emphasis placed on deep breathing, Tai Chi is the prescription for good mind-body functioning and healing.

Although there are no magic cures and nothing changes overnight (and some things never get better) a Tai Chi and Chi Gong work out is a good way of regaining control over life's insecurities and setbacks. Ironically, part of the control regained by Tai Chi may have something to do with the fact that Tai Chi stresses letting go. As a therapist, I find that most of life's problems come from holding on too tightly to things over which we have no control, but when we allow ourselves to let go, things have a tendency of becoming much more manageable. Caffeine and Weight Loss

There have been a few studies over the years to see if there is any connection between caffeine and weight loss but there is no real evidence to confirm whether or not caffeine can really help you shed those extra pounds.

While most of the studies that were done were of poor quality, some were even done on animals so you couldn't really use the results from these to say if it would be the same for humans.

On the other hand, there have been some studies that have shown that decaffeinated coffee could aid in helping you loose weight which has some thinking that there may be something else besides the caffeine that is in coffee that may contribute to loosing weight. Decaffeinated Green Tea has long been thought to help in loosing weight.

Although there isn't a direct connection that can be made between caffeine and weight loss, some researchers feel that the caffeine can contribute to weight loss indirectly by suppressing your appetite causing you to eat less.

Caffeine may also help stimulate thermo-genesis which is a process where your body generates heat by digesting food causing modest weight loss.

Caffeine will also act as a diuretic which is a type of drug that increases the rate of which you urinate which in turn will cause you to loose water weight for short periods of time.

One thing that was found is that caffeine does increase a person's metabolism by about 10%. A persons metabolic rate will stay at it's highest point for about the first 3 hours after first taking in the caffeine.

An average person can drink about 5 - 6 cups of coffee (about 10 grams of caffeine) a day before they start to experience side effects. Some of the side effects include loss of sleep, stomach problems and nervousness.

If a person drinks an excess of coffee on and empty stomach they can also experience ulcers and acid reflux.

The most important thing here is that it's the raising of ones metabolic rate that helps the body to burn off fat for generating energy.

Remember the Atkins Diet?

The Atkins Diet took caffeine and weight loss a step further and used the intake of high protean / low carb foods to set your metabolic rate at just the right level that your body would consistently burn the body's fat for energy causing a consistent loss of weight while one remained on the diet.

Hair


In a glass bottle with a wide throat pour two fingers of alcohol/ 70 degrees / and 5 soup spoons rosemary. Closing the well with a thick cap or stopper and allow the tincture to stand for 15 days in the dark, shaking it every night .After that is ready for use. The lotion is applied on the scalp 2 times weekly.


Black spots


In cup pour water and let it boil, then add chamomile. Bent over the cup for several seconds, then remove the black spots with a cotton bud, which will eliminate a lot easier.


Tighten the skin


One tablespoon flour, one teaspoon of honey, white of one egg. The white of the egg is broken down into the foam, the honey must be liquid. Put one cup of honey, white of the egg and finally the flour. Put the mixture on the face. Standing with her 10 minutes and then wash. This mask is the face to tone and tighten skin!

Nutrition Basic

This article is focused on the basics of nutrition for those who embarking on a fitness/weight training program. Today I'll talk about the three primary sources of calories for human beings. Proteins, carbohydrates, and fats. Protein is of the utmost importance for those trying to improve their bodies. The eating plan for a person trying to improve their physique should have a diet whose foundation is protein. This is what I call the skeleton of a proper eating program. The skeleton of a proper eating program is all of the protein foods the eating plan will contain. The most commonly used protein foods will be meat, fish, poultry, protein supplements, eggs and dairy based protein foods such as cottage cheese. Below I will plot out for you a skeleton of a typical eating program for a personal training client.

1.) upon waking, 3 eggs with an additional 3 egg whites 2.) 3 hours later, 8 oz. of grilled tilapia 3.) 3 hours later, 8 oz. of grilled tilapia 4.) 3 hours later, 8 oz of broiled ground sirloin 5.) 3 hours later, Muscle Milk protein supplement 6.) 2 hours later, 1 cup small curd cottage cheese

As of right now the foundation of a proper eating plan, being protein foods, has been completed. All that is needed is to add carbohydrate foods to the eating program. The level of carbohydrate intake should be tailored to the personal training client's goals. For example a skinny high school kid who wants to gain weight for football would eat a plentitude of carbohydrates. Let's take a look at how an eating program for such an individual might look. What we will do is take the skeleton eating program and add to it.

Now we will look at a more typical scenario for my personal training clients. Nine out of ten people who come to me for training are coming to lose weight and become more toned and fit. I will use the exact same skeleton eating plan as I did in the other example but this eating plan will be vastly different in the carbohydrate department. When constructing eating plans for weight loss, you can see that the order of the day is drastic reduction in carbohydrate consumption. No matter what kind of eating program I construct, I never purposely add fat calories. Adequate fat consumption is achieved with the fat that is present in the protein sources.
